Springs Trail Prescribed Burn
NOE - Notice of Exemption
Conduct a prescribed burn on approximately fifty acres between the Springs Trail and Manzanita Point Road on Pine Ridge, .7 mile from Coe Ranch heaquarters at Henry W, Coe State Park to encourage the re-establishment of native bunch grasses and to amanage invasive thistle species such as Italian thistle (Carduus pycnocephalus), Yellow star thistle (Centaurea solstitialis), an tocolote (Centuria melitensis).
Project consists of minor alterations in the condition of the land, water and vegetationthat do not involve removal of healthy, mature, scenic trees and is included as "prescribed burns to restore native vegetation, reduce fuel loads, and control invasive, exotic, or alien species".
