Document Description
The proposed project plans for the installation of new sidewalk ramps at the four corners as well as audible pedestrian signal equipment to make the intersection ADA compliant. New curb, gutter and sidewalk will be constructed on all four corners. Pedestrian push buttons and pedestrian signal heads will be upgraded to meet current Sacramento County standards and ADA requirements. There will be no reconfiguration of vehicular striping and no roadway widening. However, the area of the existing crosswalks will be slurry sealed and re-striped as necessary to realign the crosswalks with the proposed pedestrian ramps. As an additional improvement to the intersection, portions of deteriorated asphalt will be replaced at the northwest and southeast corners. All of the proposed improvements will be constructed within the existing project area. However, a Sidewalk and Pedestrian Easement of 115 sf will be needed from APN 268-0363-003. Additionally, three Temporary Construction Easements will be needed to construct the project, these include: APN 268-0363-003, 198 sf; APN 268-0364-014, 103 sf; APN 279-0040-016, 1,473 sf.
