Document Description
Metropolitan proposes to excavate materials from the decomposed granite pit at Lake Skinner and to modify the high water road at Diamond Valley Lake. Both projects are located within Riverside County. Metropolitan proposes to remove vegetation from and grade the perimeter road around the pit, remove vegetation by hand from the pit, excavate rock material, and haul the material to a storage location at the Robert A. Skinner Filtration Plant. Metropolitan proposes to place K-rails in several locations along the edge of the high water road to ensure public safety. In locations where K-rails have been installed, Metropolitan proposes to widen the opposite side of the road to allow emergency vehicle access.
