This project consists of the above ground removal (approx. 3,000 sf) of an invasive non-native plant species (Arundo donax). The two patches to be removed are located on the coastal bluff 1,000 ft. north of the entrance kiosk, the other 1,500 ft. south of kiosk. The Arundo will be removed by ground removal and several treatments of herbicide and the seeding or planting the area with native plant species. The project will not disturb any native vegetation or sensitive species and will not lead to any bluff destabilization. Cut Arundo will be taken to county green waste recycling.
