Document Description
The applicant proposes a General Vacation of a portion of Farallon Avenue right-of-way. Pursuant to California government code 8334.5 as implemented by City of Pacifica Administrative Policy No. 5 (3), the subject portion of Farallon Avenue can only be processed as a General Vacation because there are in-place utility facilities on the subject site that would be affected by the vacation. A General Vacation required that an environmental assessment of the site be completed. There is no lot line adjustment, application for a Subdivision Map Act certificate of compliance, or other discretionary application pending with respect to the Site or the property adjacent to the Farallon Avenue right of way. Any such approval would require a further application and review not addressed in this Initial Study.
