Document Description
The proposed project consists of the development of vacant land at Buchanan Field Airport in Contra Costa County to accommodate demand at the Airport for additional general aviation aircraft facilities and services. The proposed operation will specialize in corporate jet aircraft such as Gulfstream, Hawker, Dassault, Beech, Lear and Citation. Small maintenance equipment and aircraft tugs will service the aircraft. The project is expected to accommodate between six and eight aircraft berthed at the hangar with approximately four flights per aircraft per week for a total of approximately 32 flights per week total from the facility. In addition, operation of the proposed project is expected to require six to eight employees on site; some working part time, some full time.
