Document Description
SAA R3-2002-0474 The proposed project will install a bridge over Tassajara Creek to allow vehicular access to a home site. The bridge will be constructed by placing a railroad flatcar over the stream. The 53-foot long bridge will be just under 11 feet wide and will span the width of the stream channel. Concrete caissons will be constructed by drilling two holes on each side of the bank. The holes will be approximately two feet in diameter, 12 to 15 feet deep, and filled with concrete. A two foot high abutment will be placed on the caissons, and the bridge placed on top of the abutment. No construction will occur within the stream bed or channel, although an existing wetted stream crossing will be used to transport the drill from the left side of the bank (looking downstream) to the right side and back again.
