Document Description
ONYX Environmental Services L.L.C., Azusa Facility, has requested a Class I Permit Modification to their Hazardous Waste Facility Permit. The Modification entails replacing the Roper gear pump (P-413) used for pumping out the bottoms from the thin film unit (X-400) within Thin Film Evaporation Unit #4 with a Model 3196 Goulds centrifugal pump. The current pump experiences extreme wear and tear leading to an increased frequency of maintenance. The proposed replacement pump is designed to minimize deterioration as well as the potential for any leaks or spills.
