- Document Description
- The Department of Boating and Waterways proposes to construct a 40-ft. by 75-ft. pre-engineered metal boat storage building with a small office, a shower/restroom inside, and a 30-ft. by 60-ft. covered storage area outside. Both structures will be within a newly fenced and paved 85-ft. by 220-ft. open storage area being used by the Los Angeles County Lifeguard Station. The existing concrete lined drainage ditch along side the paved area will be replaced. The proposed storage building will be used for minor repair work, to store buoys, patrol boats and miscellaneous lifeguard equipment. Excavation is about 1500 c.y. and demolition consists of removing the kiosk, some paving, curbs, trees (eucalyptus) and shrubs. The project will tie into existing sewer, water, electric, telephone, and storm drains on site.
