Document Description
The purpose of this contract is to develop and introduce high infrared reflectivity (cool) colored roofing materials into the roofing market. Cooler roofs will result in lower attic and outdoor abient tempetures, leading to less need for air conditioning and lower smog formation potential. This meets the PIER goals of improving electricity sufficiency, and improving the environmental and public health.
