The project will result in the provision of a recreational facility to an area that would otherwise need to travel a distance of approximately 3 miles to the nearest park facility. The recreational activities proposed as part of the project are picnic areas, baseball, basketball, combination soccer/ football field, and children playground equipment. Additional site amenities include a restroom facility, accessibility walkways, drinking fountains, security and night lighting.
