Document Description
The project is a residential subdivision of 22 single family lots on 71.76 acres. The site is located on the north side of Hot Springs Road, approximately one mile west of Markleeville. The project is proposed in two phases. The first phase will consist of thirteen lots on the western portion of the site. Nine additional lots on the eastern portion of the site are planned for the second phase. A new access road connecting to Hot Springs Road will be constructed. An emergency only access road will extend through the adjoining property east of the site to provide a looped connection back to Hot Springs Road. A water system for fire protection only, not domestic use, is proposed to serve the entire subdivision. The system will include storage and fire hydrants along the new road within the subdivision. Domestic water supply and wastewater treatment will be provided by individual on site wells and septic systems.
