Document Description
The Lonely Gulch disposal site has been used by Caltrans since 1981 under a Special Use Permit (SUP) from the United States Forest Service. The SUP expires at the end of 2001. A requirement of the SUP is that at its expiration the disposal site must be restored. A new SUP will be sought to allow the site to be used in the future as a construction staging location. If used for future staging projects, then the site will be restored after use.
