Document Description
The installation of a 48-inch culvert to replace an existing 36-inch culvert along a haul road over a Class 1 stream. An oval-shaped culvert will be installed to minimize fill over the culvert. The outlet of the culvert will be rock-armored to prevent bank erosion. The approaches to the crossing will be rocked using cobble and rip-rap and a critical dip will be constructed on the south side of the crossing. To prevent down-cutting on the downstream side of the crossing, the culvert will be realigned to allow water to flow more naturally through the culvert and down the watercourse channel.
