Document Description
Clean, repair, reroof, and reposition four existing redwood water storage tanks (10,000 gallons each) at Big Basin Redwoods State Park to maintain adequate supply of potable water for park. Tanks need to be recentered on their foundations and replumbed to existing water system, as a result of being dislodged during the 1989 Loma Prieta earthquake. Only one tank will be disabled at a time, with the contents pumped to the remaining tanks to prevent discharging more than one tank into adjacent creek. Existing composition shingles will be replaced in kind. Tanks will be photographed before, during, and after construction.
