Document Description
The Operator proposes to alter the streambed by placing thirty two 24-inch A-jack units between the stream banks in order to allow sediment to be redeposited over exposed sections of a water main pipe. No trenching or heavy equipment will be required for the repair. Hand labor will be used to carry the A-jacks to the stream channel. Upland vegetation consists of nonnative grassland and coastal sage scrub. The intermittent stream is considered waters of the State and contains willow and mulefat scrub vegetation. The Operator shall not impact more than 60 square feet of streambed. All impacts are considered temporary and consist of 60 square feet of intermittent streambed with willow and mulefat scrub vegetation. The project area is located west of the Rancho Jamul Estates in the City of Jamul, San Diego County.
