Grazing Land/C-2 (Regional Commercial)/LMR (Low Medium Density Residential).
A proposed General Plan Amendment to the Land Use Element of the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan to change the land use map designation from LMR (Low Medium Density Residential) to GC (General Commercial) on 7 acres of land. The purpose of the amendment is to correct the existing land use designation. The subject property (20 acres) was zoned C-2 in 1977. However, the subject site (7acres) was mistakenly designated LMR in 1990, under the Metropolitan Bakersfield 2010 General Plan, while the remaining portion of the property was designated GC. The project-site and subject property are currently zoned C-2.
