The project is an update of the current General Plan for Brentwood adopted in 1993. The major goals for the General Plan Update are to reduce residential growth, increase job-generating land uses, and create a plan that will preserve and enhance the quality of life for Brentwood's citizens while providing for future growth and development for jobs, housing, public facilities, and community resources. The current General Plan Update effort involves amendments to three existing elements that are important to Brentwood's future.
