Document Description
Amend the Western Rosedale Specific Plan from Map Code(s) R-IA (Intensive Agriculture) or Map Code(s) SI (Service Industrial) of a more restrictive map code designation and to amend the Maximum Allowed Land Use Density Table for the Kern County General Plan; (b) A change in zone classification from A (Exclusive Agriculture) to M-2 PD (Medium Industrial-Precise Development Combining) or a more restrictive district; (c) Exclusion of approximately 24. 2 acres from the boundaries of an Agricultural Preserve. The project site consists of two parcels of record encompassing approximately 24. 2 acres located on the north side of Seventh Standard Road, approximately 500 feet east of Enos Lane (State Route 43). An approximately 20 acre portion of the site is planted with a mature almond orchard and the remaining acreage is undeveloped. The applicants are seeking a General Plan Amendment and zone change to provide additional area available for industrial development in the area. No specific development has been proposed for the properties. Access to the site is from 7th Standard Road. Water will be provided by either Superior Mutual Water Company or by individual water wells. Water will be provided by either Superior Mutual Water Company or by individual water wells.
