Document Description
The purpose of the NR (Natural Resource) District is to designate lands that contain productive, or potentially productive petroleum, mineral or timber resources and to prevent the encroachment of incompatible uses onto such lands. Uses in the NR District are limited to resource exploration, production and transportation, and to compatible activities. Intent is to subdivide the project site into four, approximately 5-acre parcels for future oil field contractor storage yards and/or farm related services businesses. The property is not under a Williamson Act Land Use Contract and is currently planted in alfalfa. As proposed, water supply and sewage disposal would be by individual water wells and septic systems, respectively. Access would be via a 40-foot private road easement off of Enos Lane which is designated as an arterial alignment by the Circulation Element of the Western Rosedale Specific Plan.
